How many products can manage axiscommerce ?

Hi,

I wondered how many products can handle Axiscommerce?
Because I'm going to manage 30 000 products with a lot of variations.
And I know you do a lot of JOIN on table.

Just tested Axis on database with 19K product records. Cache is enabled.

Category with 532 products: 1160ms
Category with 1105 products: 1191ms
Category with 6134 products: 1235ms
Search (134 results returned): 1623ms

1.2 seconds to return 6k of prosuct isnt bad at all, whats your server spec?

I've tested on my desktop with win7.

DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E7500, 2933 MHz
4Gb DDR2
WDC WD5000AADS-00S9B0 (465 Gb)

Server settings:
php memory_limit is 128Mb.
mysql:
key_buffer = 32M
innodb_buffer_pool_size = 512M

Will you be continuing development of this platform, it look so promising in comparison to many open source projects.

You should add a download repository to allow contributions to be added for front end template and modules etc.

Would hate to see this project die. Keep up the good work.
